What is personal information and why does Sancell collect it?

Personal information is information or opinions that identify an individual. Examples of personal information Sancell collects include names, addresses, email addresses, phone, tax file numbers, and ABN numbers, etc.

This personal information is obtained in many ways including by telephone and email, via our website www.sancell.com.au, from your website, from media and publications, from other publicly available sources, from third parties, etc.

Sancell collects personal information for the primary purposes of providing our services, providing information to our clients, and marketing. Personal information may also use for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where it would be reasonably expected of such use or disclosure.

In order to protect personal information, identification may be requested before releasing information.

It is important to Sancell that an individual’s personal information is up to date. The appropriate steps will be taken to make sure that the individual’s personal information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
