14001 ISO Certification
Since 2009, we have proudly held an ISO 14001 Environment accreditation. To maintain this certification, we must consistently adhere to our environmental management system which provides assurance that our environmental impact is being measured and continually improved.
25% POST CONSUMER RECYCLE (PCR)
We worked with local recycle partners to obtain certified posts-consumer recycle (PCR) to be incorporated into our Phoenix Bubble Armour and Silver Sheen lines (25%). This is some of the first protective packaging in Australia to contain PCR. As we strive for a more circular economy, PCR is superior packaging material for the industries of future.
RECYCLED CONTENT
In line with the demand for locally sourced and Australian made, we worked on sourcing many of our materials from local suppliers to reduce carbon emissions. In 2022, we expanded our cold chain range to include a 100% locally sourced and 100% locally produced thermal liner and bag - Silver Sheen!

AUSTRALIAN MADE
Sancell products are and always will be made in Australia (Melbourne and Sydney). When choosing Australian Made, you are electing to reduce your impact on the environment. Locally made products have a lower carbon footprint than their imported counterparts. Less time in transit means fewer fossil fuels and less carbon being released into the atmosphere over the products lifecycle.
RIGHT FIRST TIME MANTRA
At Sancell we believe one of the best forms of waste reduction is to ensure our protective packaging products are fit-for-purpose and function as required every time through our 'right first time' mantra. That is to: protect, prevent damage and ensure goods arrive at their destination safely and ready for use.
25% RENEWABLE ENERGY
On the 1st of January 2021, we adopted 25% renewable energy with Green Power at our Melbourne site, saving 458 tonnes of carbon emissions per year. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions from electricity generation; Green Power provides energy generated from 100% renewable sources such as solar and wind.
92% REDUCTION IN WASTE TO LANDFILL
We have always had a passion for the environment, to drive change and minimise our footprint. Our biggest internal focus is to eliminate our waste to landfill. With weekly 'In the Bin' meetings and a monthly superior waste report to track our progress, we take the additional time to focus on the smallest processes to make a significant difference. Since 2019, our dedication has resulted in a remarkable 92% reduction in waste to landfill!
